Here are a few terms that can help ease the process:
Frame- a single image that is part of a 360 spin. Some spins have 36 images, some have 72 and some have… a lot more. Generally, our spins are 36 images in a row. This, of course, brings us to our next term.
Row- this is the horizontal plane your images are on. A standard spin is one row. A 3D spin is usually 3 rows, but can be more. Usually, we use more rows to show off the top or bottom of the product, and to give a product more depth.
The more frames, the smoother the spin. The more rows, the more of the product’s facets we can see. Most customers use the 36 frame single row spin.
Spin Animation- A spin animation is a stop motion animation of your product. This helps to display the function of features and allows a viewer to become that much more familiar with what you are selling.
Custom Multi Row- This is a 3D spin with something other than 3 rows. It could be two rows…or it could be 4, 5 or 6. The sky is the limit.
